Susan Nelson Anderson has been my realtor on 5 different transactions over the last 19 years. She is the consummate professional, very knowledgeable, and stay in close contact with her clients. She sold my daughter's home several years ago, which was not an easy house to sell as my daughter had not made a very wise purchase. She also helped my widowed uncle find a nice townhome and went the extra mile to connect him to some golfing friends as he has just moved to Albuquerque. Most recently she guided me through the process to prepare my home for the market and managed every aspect of the selling process. Overall my experience with Susan has been outstanding and I highly recommend her.

Our agent, Susan Nelson Anderson was excellent throughout our first entire homebuying process. We looked for homes with her in the Albuquerque area for 9 months! Susan was incredibly patient despite how picky we were and how much time we took to find something we really liked, and made sure we didnt settle for a house that wasn't a great fit. She very quickly could pick out a home's unique features as well as things that at first go unnoticed, but might be big annoyances down the line. During the closing process, she communicated all the processes clearly and gave us excellent advice during negotiations. Susan clearly has a wealth of experience and is a true expert! Overall, we cannot recommend her highly enough to homebuyers in the Albuquerque area.

Susan Nelson Anderson far exceeded our expectations of a realtor. Late in life, we are relocating from San Francisco to Albuquerque -- a big and sensitive change. Susan carefully surveyed all the possibilities Albuquerque hold for us, guiding us to consider many different neighborhoods and showing us a variety of homes. In the end, we made an offer on a house that exactly suits our needs (which are considerable because of accessibility requirements) in a neighborhood we feel sure is exactly right for us. She handled negotiations and all the many details of repairs expertly, going overboard especially because we were not in New Mexico. I recommend Susan unequivocally!

Susan was extremely well informed, patient, and diligent through my entire house buying experience. In a tough market, Susan and I had success in finding a house that suited my specific needs and wants. We started the search sometime before COVID, looking for: A house not too far from work, preferably single floor, AND a horse property. I’m new to the Albuquerque area and her experience and knowledge were critical. The house I bought wasn’t included in my search criteria, but Susan thought it might suit the bill. I’m glad she did because it worked out great (and well within my search needs, too.) It is even in my preferred area! Susan worked through many showings and several offers over a long period of time. I’m very happy Susan was my broker and I recommend her to my friends.

When buying real estate in New Mexico, you want a realtor who understands water rights, precedence, and other important legalities that are unique to New Mexico. Susan has a complete understanding of these things. She will ask all the questions needed to insure you understand what your buying as well as help you avoid surprises after purchase. She is professional and friendly and makes the buyer feel confident.

Susan is very helpful for first time home buyers! She did a great job teaching me and my fiancée how to evaluate a house and walked us through every step of the purchasing process. She pointed out flaws in houses that a less experienced realtor would miss and had great connections with inspectors, bankers, and title offices.
