I know New Mexico. I have lived in NM for most of the last 37 years. Though I grew up in the East, I am married to a native New Mexican and know this state very well.
I know relocation. At one point my husband and I moved our family from Albuquerque to Warsaw, Poland on a few weeks notice. Later, we moved from Albuquerque to London, England and back again. All together we moved 7 times in 5 years. I am eager to put this experience to work for you whether you are moving across Albuquerque ,across the country or across the world.
I am well prepared to help you buy or sell a home: Cornell University BS, Univ.of Rochester MEd, Univ. of New Mexico MBA Studies. In addition, I have earned advanced designations in real estate including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Transnational Realty Certification (TRC), the GREEN designation for environmental issues in building, and the CDPE designation for handling the purchase and sale of financially distressed properties.
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation is especially important as it is evidence of my skill and experience because less than 4% of the real estate agents in the USA qualify for that certification. It truly is a "Masters Degree" in real estate.
I also have been certified for 20 years to market and sell luxury home through Coldwell Banker's GLOBAL LUXURY program and have been chosen as a member of NM Select continuously for the last 19 years.
My advanced MARKETING SYSTEM will help get your home SOLD: Coldwell Banker Legacy offers state of the art marketing including a state of the art website, YouTube videos on every listing, a sophisticated lead routing system to capture and respond to all inquiries on your home, diverse website placement and a network of well trained agents dedicated to selling your home first. Homes priced over $500,000 (depending on zip code) qualify for Coldwell Banker's Global Luxury Program.
My Professional Background
I am well prepared to help you buy or sell a home. Continually investing in additional education keeps me at the top of my game and prepares me to do a better job for you.
Community Involvement
Contributing to my community is very important to me. I have been a docent at the Albuquerque Art and History Museum, Casa San Ysidro, a historic house, and the Corrales Historical Society for many years.
Volunteering as a docent, I conduct tours for adults as well as for groups of school children. I'd love to include you or your visitors on a tour!
The School of Architecture and Planning at the University of New Mexico is another of my interests and I have served on their Design Council for eight years. The college is housed in a beautiful building designed by internationally renowned local architect, Antoine Predock and named for another architect, George Pearl.
Personal Interests
Traveling to far off places is one of my passions. Recently my husband and I went trekking in Nepal at the base of the Himalayas, spent Christmas with our whole family in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and went white water rafting on the Rogue River in Oregon. Other favorite trips have included Peru, Turkey, China, Japan, Colombia, Brazil, Morocco, Cuba and all the countries we could get to on a train while we lived in Europe.
I connect this interest with my real estate business through the International Property Specialist designation. Recently, it helped me sell one of my New Mexico pueblo style homes to a French couple moving to Albuquerque... evidence that we really do have worldwide marketing!
